Mount Olive Development Corporation (MODCO) is partnering with the Bureau of Justice Assistance U.S. Department of Justice to implement Project Rescue.  Project Rescue is a Faith Based Mentoring Program for returning Citizens that have been convicted as an adult and imprisoned in a state or local facility, returning to Broward County. This program targets ages 25-44. The Mission of our Project Rescue Faith Based Mentoring Program is to utilize mentors from the faith based sector to provide support services, counseling, and coaching for returning citizens as they transition back into society from incarceration. The Project Rescue Faith Based Mentoring Program is a 1 year program that is  designed to:

• Prepare offenders for release into society

• Provide job training and job placement

• Provide stable housing

• Reduce the use of illegal drugs

• Reduce recidivism

(Pre-Release Services)

*Pre-release gender specific mentoring   (minimum of two months prior to release)

*Discharge Planning

We specialize in addressing the challenges of homelessness, incarceration, HIV and addiction..
